The perfect '59 tone, this is a fatter sounding pickup with increased lows, airy highs and a balanced midrange. The Alnico IV magnet provides increased power output with a wide dynamic range to drive the amp into a thick and sweet overdrive. The offset coil winding and heavily scatterwound plain enamel wire allow for plenty of complex harmonic overtones.

The neck pickup is wound to match the bridge and voiced for a tone that is warm but never muddy with a clear attack and good note seperation.

Works well with: Classic choice for the perfect set neck tone. In a bolt on guitar the tone is brighter with less low end but balances well with single coils.
